Located just steps from Hamilton Park in Jersey City, elevator is a creative studio space and working artist community spread across three floors. Our building is home to painters, musicians, craftspeople, and other makers.

On October 3rd and 4th, we will open our studios as part of JCAST, giving visitors the chance to explore the building, meet artists in their working spaces, and get a genuine look at the creative process. Whether you’re a longtime supporter of the local arts scene or just curious what’s behind the doors of one of Jersey City’s creative communities, there’s something for everyone to discover.

More than just a place to make work, elevator functions as a genuine community, one where artists across disciplines support each other's practices and connect with the broader Jersey City arts scene.
