Artist Bio
Kristin J. DeAngelis is a mixed media artist, curator, and arts advocate whose work explores pattern, texture, and the beauty found in everyday organic forms. Drawing inspiration from nature, printmaking, watercolor, and hand-drawn mark making, she creates layered compositions that invite viewers to discover new details with each look. With more than 25 years of experience in the arts, marketing, and sales, Kristin brings both creative vision and professional expertise to her work. She is the owner, director, and curator of 107 Bowers Gallery & ArtSpace, where she champions emerging and established artists while fostering connections through exhibitions and community engagement. A lifelong artist, Kristin has been creating since childhood, when she was rarely without a crayon, pencil, or paintbrush in hand. Her passion for sharing art extends beyond her own studio. She has curated exhibitions, mentored artists, and served as a Teaching Artist, introducing children to the foundations of art and celebrating their creativity through annual student exhibitions.
