Artist Bio
Bio: Dorie Dahlberg grew-up in New Jersey on the Atlantic coast. She interrupted her college education to live in the cold northern Midwest and the deserts of the Southwest. Back in New Jersey she finished a BFA at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in printmaking. Dahlberg was an art educator in Newark Public Schools for 25 years. She attended graduate school at Pratt Institute and completed an MA Education Administration at St. Peters University. Dahlberg is a former adjunct professor at New Jersey City University, president of Pro Arts Jersey City, an artist-run non-profit, and a resident of the Jersey shore once again.
