“ Leo's Chain Uzumaki ” The never ending cycle of life where there is always something bigger than yourself no matter how high you climb. Each animal absorbs the other taking their prey essence while keeping their personality.
“ The Lone Wanderer ” Overcoming adversity by marching forward. Never stopping even when facing new challenges in lands unknown. The entity marching does not fit in the scene surrounding it. The forest is dark full of cool colors while the entity is in warm colors. Yet cool colors are reflecting on itself showing its willingness to adapt.
“ Unfriendly Welcome ” Prepared for all obstacles, the giant fish is scaring away all lifeforms around it. Disturbing the calm waters around it. The chaos within is expanding and may burst. ,
“ Divine Mystic Call ” the beautiful colors gives a false sense of safety to the nature of its intention. Its destructive force is only known and felt once the object passes through the spiral shaped clouds in the sky.
Artist Bio
Lionel Emabat is an artist and animator with over 10+ years of experience. He holds a B.A in Digital Design & Illustration and a Minor in Computer Science. Born in West Africa, he has always enjoyed mimicking what was in front of him on a piece of paper long before he could write. In the seventh grade, his art teacher advised him to compete and join the art program of his future High School. This set him on an artistic path and he never looked back. His artistic experiences combined with cultural adaptation inspired his drawings. Over the years the things he has seen and experienced sparked his creativity & helped inspire his drawings. He loves to translate text into visual images filled with layers of information. As the years passed, Leo learned to tell stories from many different perspectives because art speaks when words cannot. Balancing working at the Educational Arts Team and taking professional arts commission and contract. It gives me a unique perspective when communicating with people that is both satisfying and fulfilling. Leo has always kept a sketchbook with him along this journey. As he moved forward every day, he chose to live his life by sketching his way there one drawing at a time.
